v0.2: simple progression, and a victory condition


The game is still a draft, but at least it does plays like a game...

When at the tavern, you now have a choice of three adventures to choose from.

One of them is a step in the quests line, the overall progression of the game that ends with a victory, while the two other ones provides you with critical items, such as a strong weapon, a powerful mount or a magical ring for blinking around. There is only a limited number of such adventures though, after which you will instead be proposed more and more dangerous push-your-luck fights with mundane rewards.

The quest line itself is very simple: 

  1. defeat an ambush
  2. infiltrate a fortress / explore a dungeon
  3. victory

You can see the proposed adventures in the journal (open it by pressing the j key, or via the "Journal" left button). The quest one is always proposed by the same "respected" guy:)

Leave the tavern by hitting the escape key, or via the "let's go!" left button, and then choose your adventure. If you do so while riding a saurian, it will follow you if it is possible.
